Bogus 911 calls claim gunman in restroom of Saginaw County schools

SAGINAW TWP, MI — Police in Saginaw County responded to two schools for false reports of a potential shooter.

At 11:53 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, Saginaw County Central Dispatch received a call from someone claiming to be in a men’s restroom within Mackinaw High School, 3775 Shattuck Road in Saginaw Township, armed with a rifle and threatening to shoot students, said Lt. James Rich of the Saginaw Township Police Department.
