GENESEE COUNTY, MI -- Current Genesee County Commissioner Beverly Brown, D-Flint, is facing her first general election challenge on Nov. 5 from Republican Steve Minnock of Flint.
Brown, who was appointed to represent county commission District 4 in January 2023, faces Minnock, who defeated Michele Sheeran in the Aug. 6 primary, more than doubling his opponent’s vote total.
