COVID hospitalizations easing again in Michigan

Michigan hospitals are seeing fewer COVID patients after experiencing a slight surge from November into early January.

As of Monday, Jan. 22, there were 767 adults with COVID-19 in hospitals throughout the state. That’s a 37% decline since Jan. 1, when there were 1,221 such patients, according to state health department data.
