ALLEN PARK -- The sample size remains small, but Trevor Nowaske has continued to impress from the SAM linebacker spot for the Detroit Lions since Derrick Barnes landed on injured reserve.
Barnes has continued to be there for the linebackers in meetings and at the team facility, with his influence on Nowaske sticking out when talking to coaches.
