Grand Rapids mayoral candidates debate housing, parking and more top issues

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – David LaGrand and Senita Lenear, the two candidates running to be Grand Rapids’ next mayor, discussed their policies on housing, transportation, public safety, urban development and more during a debate Monday night, Oct. 21.

With two weeks to go until the Nov. 5 general election, each candidate tried to convince voters that they’re best choice to replace outgoing Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss, who is facing the end of her term and unable to seek reelection.
