BAY CITY, MI – Two candidates are in the running for the seat in the Michigan House of Representatives overseeing Michigan’s 99th District, which includes portions of Bay, Clare and Gladwin counties in addition to Arenac, Iosco and Ogemaw counties.

Republican incumbent Mike Hoadley is being challenged by a Democratic newcomer Jon LeRoux. Both will appear on the Nov. 5 ballots for the race, with the winner being elected to a two-year term.
