In Michigan, Trump details aftermath of latest foiled assassination attempt

FLINT, MI — Michigan again was former President Donald Trump’s first campaign stop after a reported assassination attempt.

During a town hall-style rally Tuesday, Sept. 17, inside Flint’s Dort Financial Center, the Republican presidential nominee responded publicly to the latest reported attempt on his life, revealing details about the capture of a suspect in the incident as well as sympathetic phone calls Trump received from two political rivals in recent days.
