JACKSON, MI - Jackson Public Schools Superintendent Jeff Beal will receive a letter of reprimand for mistakenly sending an insulting text to a school board member.

The Jackson School Board’s meeting Tuesday, Sept. 17, was preceded by a closed-session, during which board members discussed a text message Beal inadvertently sent to Trustee Kesha Hamilton in July that included belittling remarks about Hamilton’s intelligence.
