BAY CITY, MI – First Lady Jill Biden and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz will be in Bay City on Monday, Oct. 28, to drive support for the Harris-Walz campaign.
The pair will attend a Women for Harris-Walz event, which the campaign said will focus on what’s at stake for reproductive freedoms in the election.
The campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, did not provide details on where in Bay City the event will take place.
The Harris-Walz campaign said Gwen Walz has shared her personal fertility journey on the campaign trail and laid out the ways in which a new administration under former President Donald Trump would threaten all types of reproductive freedoms, including fertility treatments.
After the Bay City stop, the pair will head to La Crosse, Wisconsin, for an Educators for Harris-Walz event. Both Biden and Gwen Walz are longtime educators.
