BAY COUNTY, MI – The race to determine who would challenge Prosecutor Nancy Borushko in the November General Election was one of Bay County’s tightest races of the August primary, with the final precincts needed to determine the unofficial winner.
However, after all 41 precincts were accounted for, Michael Kanuszewski had defeated Brian Jean. He will proceed to the November ballot, where he will challenge incumbent Borushko.
According to the results, Kanuszewski tallied 4,660 votes to Jean’s 4,648 votes.
Official results will follow the certification process from state and county election officials.
