After two straight years of coasting through its nonconference schedule, Michigan’s football team shouldn’t have to wait long for its measuring stick game in 2024.

The Wolverines kick off their season Aug. 31 against Fresno State, which finished in the Top 25 in 2022 and went 9-4 in 2023, before hosting Texas on Sept. 7 in a showdown between two playoff teams from a year ago.
