ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions, last year’s prime-time darlings, will get another chance to defend that reputation with another five games under the lights in front of a national audience on their schedule for the 2024 campaign.
And just like last year, the Lions are starting the new season against a playoff team under the lights, this time, though, it’s at home and against an old friend. Detroit will also get another chance to host a Monday Night Football game, with the Seahawks coming to town in Week 4. The Lions haven’t beaten the Seahawks since 2012, losing six straight in the series, including all three matchups with Dan Campbell running the show.
