DETROIT — Since Dan Campbell’s arrival as the Detroit Lions’ head coach in 2021, “grit” has become more than just a buzzword — it now defines the franchise, reflecting the foundation of their recent rise.

The culture of grit that Campbell and his staff instilled transformed a 3-13-1 team in his first season into a squad that captured its first division title and NFC Championship Game appearance in over 30 years by the end of his third.
