* Michigan State set a slew of new season-highs for offensive grades, including for offensive overall, receiving and rushing. Its rushing grade of 82.9 was its highest in a Big Ten game in the PFF era, dating back to the 2014 season. The team had 137 yards after contact and 13 missed tackles forced.

* Nick Marsh now has the third-best season grade among qualifying freshman wide receivers in college football, behind only Jeremiah Smith of Ohio State and Malcolm Simmons of Auburn.

* As a team, Michigan State had its second-best tackling grade of the season, giving up only three while defending one of the nation’s leading rushers in Iowa’s Kaleb Johnson.
