GENESEE COUNTY, MI -- Incumbent Genesee County Drain Commissioner Jeff Wright was unopposed in the Aug. 6 primary election and has no Republican opponent in this year’s general election.

But Wright, who has held the top drain job in the county for 24 years, will face a separate challenge on Nov. 5 from David Niggemeyer, a truck driver representing the US Taxpayers Party of Michigan.
