With the Nov. 5 election just around the corner and early voting across Michigan two days away, the Harris and Trump campaigns are continuing to seek votes in the battleground state, where former First Lady Michelle Obama will be among the next to campaign with a Saturday rally in Kalamazoo and even Motown legend Stevie Wonder is adding his voice to the mix.

Meanwhile, the state announced nine new “I voted” stickers designed by Michiganders, ranging from a simple “ope, I voted” to a werewolf tearing off his shirt in front of an American flag, are ready to be handed out to voters.

WHEN DOES VOTING START?

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Absentee ballot voting has begun.

And, in some communities, early in-person voting opportunities began as early as Monday, Oct. 7. Other communities plan to launch early in-person voting later in the election cycle. Check with your local clerk to identify when early in-person voting may launch in your community.

The early voting period takes place for a minimum of nine consecutive days, ending on the Sunday before an election. Communities may decide to provide additional days of early voting, up to 29 days total.
