The Titans will already be without their star wide receiver when they visit the Lions on Sunday, after trading DeAndre Hopkins to the Chiefs.
Now, they’ll likely be without their starting quarterback, too.
Titans starting quarterback Will Levis is considered a “long shot” to make his return from injury for the team’s Week 8 game against the Lions, according to ESPN.
Levis missed the Titans’ Week 7 game against the Bills due to a shoulder injury. In his absence, the team turned to veteran Mason Rudolph to start. Rudolph went 25-for-40 for 215 yards with a touchdown and an interception as the Titans gave up 34 straight points in a 34-10 loss to Buffalo.
Rudolph would be the likely starter again on Sunday for the 1-5 Titans if Levis is not ready to play.
Levis, in his second season with the Titans, has completed 66 percent of his passes with five touchdowns and seven interceptions on the season.
